Successful DUTE Open Day held on 17 March 2016

1st DUTE Open Day 2016

The first Open Day for the Dual-Use Technology Exploitation Cluster (DUTE) was held on 17 March 2016 with great success.  Hosted in London by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) the event raised awareness of DUTE, including funding and innovation opportunities.

The current DUTE partners gave updates on their innovative use cases in adjacent sectors, and speakers from Government and Funding agencies revealed details of their strategies for dual-use and how such projects could be funded.

The audience of SME’s, Tier 1 suppliers, Primes, Universities and Government agencies were inspired to consider how they could engage with the DUTE cluster as it continues to scale up.

If you were not able to participate in this inaugural event, please find below links to the presentations made on the day.  You are also welcome to contact the DUTE Programme Office if you would like more information about opportunities to engage with the cluster:

Helen Corney, DUTE Project Manager

The DUTE Programme Directors are already looking at holding another open day towards the end of 2016, and we will keep you informed as soon as we have more details to share.
